Pool Hall & Billiard Room POS System

Overview

POS for pool halls, pool rooms and billiard halls: per-table timers, hourly or per-frame rates, peak pricing, bar & canteen tabs on one bill, bookings and reports. 7-day free trial.

A pool hall POS has one job a restaurant till was never built for: charging for time. Every table is a running meter, and the price can change mid-game — a happy hour ends, a group moves to a bigger table, a member walks in. A pool room point of sale has to follow all of that without the person at the counter doing sums on a calculator.

RackPro turns each pool, snooker or billiards table into a live tile on a floor map. Start the clock with one tap, add drinks and snacks to the same table tab, switch tables mid-session, and close out with an itemised bill that already includes the right rate for every minute played — hourly, per frame, or peak and off-peak.

Because it runs in the browser, a billiard hall can put RackPro on the counter PC, a tablet behind the bar and the owner's phone at the same time. Owners see live occupancy and the day's takings from home; staff only see the screens their role allows.

What should a pool hall POS system do?

At minimum: time every table, apply the correct rate automatically (hourly, per frame, peak hours, member rates), put bar and food orders on the same tab as table time, and print or share a clear itemised bill. A good pool room POS also handles bookings, shows which tables are free at a glance, and reports revenue per table so you know which ones earn their floor space.

Can I charge some tables hourly and others per frame?

Yes. Rates are set per table or per table group, so a pool hall can charge 8-ball tables by the hour and snooker tables per frame, with different peak-hour prices on each.

How does the bar or canteen tab work in a pool room?

Staff add drinks, snacks and merchandise to the table's open session from any device. Orders can go to a kitchen screen, and everything lands on one bill with the table time when the players check out — no separate bar till to reconcile at closing.

What happens when players move to a different table?

Use table switch. The session moves without stopping the clock, and RackPro bills the time on each table at that table's own rate, then merges it into one bill.

Do I need special hardware for a billiard hall POS?

No. RackPro is browser-based and runs on the PC, tablet or phone you already have. Any standard receipt printer the device can print to will work for bills.

Can customers book a pool table in advance?

Yes. Staff can take phone and walk-in reservations, and players can request a table online from your club's public page. Booked tables show on the floor map, and the booking becomes a timed session in one tap when the players arrive.

Will it stop staff from under-charging or giving free time?

Club activity is logged with the name of the staff member who did it, so owners can see who started, changed or closed each session. Roles and permissions control what each staff member can access.

How much does a pool hall POS cost with RackPro?

Pricing is based on how many tables you run — floors are unlimited — with every feature included. You can try it free for 7 days — see the pricing page for the plan that matches your hall.
